Corporate shared value has been primarily regarded as a charitable action. The issue of organizations treating corporate shared value as a charitable action without taking into account reputational consequences, has seen corporates invest heavily on corporate shared value projects only to delight on great perception for a limited period of time. The objectives that guided this study were to explore whether corporate share value programs lead to the beneficiaries perceiving a company as an organization that upholds their personal and business growth.
