Abstract

Cybersafety education do not necessarily lead to changes in behavior and support in the online environments. Young learners understand that engaging in online environments come with various responsibilities. Policy and practices that respond to online safety of young learners ought to consider ways in which they can maximize the benefits. Young learners who are vulnerable offline are to be considered with caution as they are most likely also vulnerable online.
