In recent years, traditional education models have been increasingly challenged by the need for more personalized and adaptive learning experiences. Recognizing this shift, Amref International University decided to revamp its online curriculum to align with learner-centred design principles. The goal was to enhance student engagement, satisfaction, and ultimately, learning outcomes. This study looks into the adoption of a learner-centred design approach in the development of online resources and lessons learnt by AmIU’s ODeL centre technical team.
