Abstract
In today's diverse educational landscape, it is essential to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all learners, including those with disabilities. Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities (CRPD) stipulates that persons with disabilities should not be excluded from the general education system on the basis of disability. The CRPD also requires countries that are signatory to the convention ensure that systems of education are inclusive compliant and that SWDs enjoy their education rights at all levels, devoid of any undue discrimination owing to their disability (Hayes, 2017).
