Online Supervision and Collaboration Strategies for Graduate Students in Moi University, Kenya: A Qualitative Study.

Abstract

The doctoral study is not so much for those with high intellectual quotient (IQ), but for those with emotional quotient' (EQ). The number of students enrolled vs. the number that completes are not in tandem with fewer than 300 PhD graduates annually ( Matheka, 2022).In 2022, 566,000 (178,000 in 2010-2011) enrolled but only 62, 260 graduated, a graduation rate of 11%There are several reasons given by the students and the This study adopted a case study design based on qualitative approach Population: Enrolled graduate students in Moi University, Sample comprised graduate students and faculty members purposively sampled (only on WhatsApp group) Data collected from the postgraduate Whatsapp forum by recording posted content.
