Abstract
The desired outcome of this study is to uncover counter-terrorism measures that Kenya can adopt that shall not violate international human rights and international humanitarian laws. To achieve this, a deep dive into Kenya's history of counter-terrorism shall be done to pinpoint measures previously taken that violate International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. Alternative measures that the country can adopt shall thereafter be recommended. In addition to this, the study shall discuss the role of judicial bodies in ensuring that counter-terrorism measures are not in violation of international human rights and international humanitarian laws. This shall be achieved by researching recommendations and guidelines provided for by the United Nations and its bodies as well as other relevant International Organizations.
