dc.description.abstractThe Public Health Emergencies Preparedness and Response (PHEPR) leadership training programme was initiated in response to the increasing number of public health emergencies in Africa.  This was through a partnership between Amref, Africa CDC, WHO Afro and MSD from May 2021-Feb 2023 and rolled out through the Amref Jibu platform.  The goal was to nurture a unique type of leadership in safely managing the progressively increasing public health emergencies in the continent through a collaborative approach.
