Abstract

The 4th Industrial technology (4IT) commonly referred to as fourth industrial revolution (4IR) has created a sense of mystery in the world that few countries can match especially in Africa. Although launched in rich countries, where adoption has been rapid, the 4IT wave has already begun washing up on Africa’s shores (Ndung’u & Signé, 2020; Fox & Signé, 2021).
