Abstract
Stress is a fact of life and without it, live has No meaning. However, how we handle stress determines whether we enjoy live or not. Good management of stress leads to improved performance. Poor management of stress leads to depression, poor health and poor performance. The effects of stress can lead to self-destruction and negatively affect self-performance and those of others. Today, stress has been termed as the No.1 killer worldwide. Yet stress is never identified as the real killer thereby emphasizing the importance of managing stress. The book, STRESS THE SILENT KILLER, advice on how to manage stress both in the social context and work place.
