dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study is to examine the role of publications in promoting internal communication at Royal Media Services with particular focus on Mipasho Newsletter. The objectives are to identify types of information contained in Mipasho Newsletter that promote effective internal communications, examine the role of Mipasho Newsletter in promoting effective internal communication, identify challenges Royal Media Services face in enhancing effective internal communication through Mipasho Newsletter, and establish measures that can be put in place to ensure Mipasho Newsletter promotes effective internal communication at Royal Media Services in Kenya. Apologia theory will provide the theoretical background information for this study. The study will use descriptive research design and will apply both quantitative and quantitative approaches. The target population will be 729 employees of Royal Media Services working at the Head Office in Nairobi. The sample size will be 73 respondents. Simple random sampling technique will be applied in selecting the respondents and questionnaire will be used to collect primary data. Descriptive data analysis will be conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23.0 and presented in form of tables, charts and graphs.
