    Human-Centered Design in Strengthening Capacity of Public Health Leaders in Africa

    The Public Health Emergencies Preparedness and Response (PHEPR) leadership training programme was initiated in response to the increasing number of public health emergencies in Africa.  This was through a partnership between Amref, Africa CDC, WHO Afro and MSD from May 2021-Feb 2023 and rolled out through the Amref Jibu platform.  The goal was to nurture a unique type of leadership in safely managing the progressively increasing public health emergencies in the continent through a collaborative approach.
