The problem that encouraged this study was the fact that reproductive health is one of the most common health challenges the youth in Nigeria are currently facing. This challenge results from increased sexual activities the youth engage in, significant taboos surrounding reproductive health that originate from customs, religion, culture, and the frequently private nature of its numerous subtopics, no access to scientifically correct information, and myths regarding sexual and reproductive health. Research objectives which is to find out the types of reproductive health topics that interest the youth of lead city university when watching yolo and to find out how yolo has exposed and impacted the youth in making decisions concerning reproductive health issues. The study utilized a descriptive research design from a quantitative approach. The study population comprises of student of Lead city university, the study used a purposive sampling technique to recruit participant. The study found that i) the series' contribution to increasing public awareness of the dangers of STIs, especially HIV, is among its most significant effects, ii) students stated that they were more aware of the value of safe sex practices—specifically, using condoms to avoid STIs and unplanned pregnancies—after seeing YOLO, and iii) the study's recognition of the impact of peer pressure on sexual decision-making was one of its key findings. Some key recommendations made were Lead City University should include edutainment content like as the YOLO television series in health programs, seminars, and workshops that focus on reproductive health, since many students who participated with the show reported having a greater understanding of reproductive health issues and the institution can also work with regional media producers to provide customized content that takes into account the cultural background and difficulties that students encounter.
