It looks at emerging threats with socio-economic dimensions and the biblical foundations for engaging in societal transformation. In addition, it examines the biblical holistic approach and response to contemporary socio-economic challenges. The library research identifies the contributing factors to Sub-Sahara Africa‘s socio-economic struggles: poverty, disease, bad governance, and mismanagement of resources. The research also evaluates the ecclesiastical response to the identified challenges.
