In this study, the term transgender will also encompass gender non-conforming persons. This study was guided by the following general objective, to investigate the forms of discrimination experienced by the transgender community in Kenya and their impact, specific to Nairobi County, and the following specific objectives which is to investigate the copying strategies of persons who have undergone transgender, to assess the impact of discrimination among persons who have undergone transgender in Nairobi, to investigate the coping strategies of persons who have undergone transgender among the transgender community in Nairobi. The study adopted gender theory, queer theory, and trans theory, Data was collected using questionnaire, the target popolution was Persons aged 18 years and above.
