The Giant Panda Bears

Abstract

The giant panda bear is a large, black and white animal that belongs to the bear family (Ursidae). Its scientific name is Ailuropoda melanoleuca, which means “black and white cat footed animal. Giant pandas live mainly in bamboo forests high in the mountains of central China, particularly in the Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces.
