Abstract
My passion for teaching didn’t begin in lecture halls or libraries .it began at home, in a household where education was not just a profession, but a way of life.
My mother was a teacher. But to me, she was more than that, she was a mentor, a role model, and the first person to show me the life-altering power of education. I watched her give herself to her students with patience, understanding, and unwavering dedication. Her influence was strong but subtle: she taught me that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but about unlocking potential and shaping lives. I grew up witnessing how education could change individuals and transform entire communities. My mother’s stories of struggle, perseverance, and triumph in the classroom ignited in me a deep desire to follow her footsteps, not out of imitation, but inspiration. I wanted to become that change-maker, the person who sees promise where others see limitation, who believes in the power of knowledge to open doors and renew hope. To me, teaching is not about control, but about empowerment. It is about helping students discover their worth, their voice, and their path in life.
