Corruption is the abuse of public office for personal gain or demand for payment or favor by public for a service that someone is entitled to. Corruption debate is a juicy subject especially during campaign period and the promise to eradicate it Can easily propel into leadership. In View of the prospect Of the debate elevating one into some position, question that begs for an answer is "is anyone really interested in eradicating corruption?" In 21M)2 general elections in Kenya, National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) got into leadership on the pledge to bring corruption to an end. The pledge caught the attention of the electorate owing to the rampant corruption that had been witnessed during the 24 years or the previous regime.
